Description Join our International Stores & Corporate Communications team in Milan as a PR Specialist. You'll support innovative campaigns for Amazon Italy, crafting compelling narratives across multiple channels in a global environment. In this role, you'll build relationships with media, develop creative content, and execute PR initiatives that enhance Amazon's reputation as a positive contributor to Italian communities, the economy, and the environment. About Amazon Italy: Amazon.it opened its virtual doors in November 2010 with the mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online. The ideal candidate will bring experience in fast-paced PR environments, creative storytelling abilities, and strong relationship-building skills. You should be a strategic thinker who pays close attention to detail and can translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives. This role requires excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, media representatives, and cross-functional teams. You will work across various countries, cultures, and business units to achieve communication objectives. Key job responsibilities • Devise and lead proactive internal and external communication campaigns that maintain a pipeline of positive stories about Amazon's work in Italy across owned, earned, and paid channels • Support the team on narratives and campaigns that promote Amazon's contributions to Italian communities, economy, employees, and the environment • Develop storytelling opportunities and generate ideas for editorial projects • Create content in optimal formats and determine appropriate distribution channels to maximize impact with target audiences • Collaborate with PR teams in Italy and globally to ensure consistent messaging • Provide communications counsel to business executives on both short-term and long-term challenges and opportunities • Develop effective outreach programs for corporate stakeholders, including industry analysts and third-party groups Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent • Fluency in Italian and English • Demonstrated experience in communications or public relations • Strong writing and editing skills in both Italian and English Preferred Qualifications • Experience working on major corporate campaigns • Exceptional ability to distill complex concepts into user-friendly communications • Experience working effectively with media and influencers in Italy; an existing network of media contacts is highly desirable • Experience developing content across various formats, including media pitches, infographics, social posts, and broadcast (TV/radio/podcast) storytelling packages Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
