The Impact You'll Make

Do you have a passion for politics and a flair for communication? Are you outgoing, with a strong network and the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders

Danfoss is looking for a Public Affairs Manger to join our Brussels office and support our growing EU engagement. You will report directly to Director of Global Public Affairs in Copenhagen and be part of Danfoss’ global, multi-diverse team in Group Communications & Public Affairs.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Public Affairs Advisor, you will help ensure that Danfoss’ priorities are heard in Brussels at the intersection of business, policy, and the green transition. You will coordinate your day-to-day tasks with the Head of the EU office, and your work will combine policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and communications, supporting Danfoss’ leadership on energy efficiency, electrification, and sustainable industry

Key Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of Danfoss’ EU public affairs strategy. Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, Commission, Parliament and member states, industry associations, NGOs, and other stakeholders in Brussels. Monitor EU policy and regulatory developments and prepare analyses, briefings, and recommendations. Write and promote proactive position papers, consultation responses, and communications materials on key priorities. Represent Danfoss at external events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings. Lead and coordinate advocacy campaigns together with colleagues across Danfoss’ business segments and with our global public affairs network. Assist in identifying EU funding opportunities relevant to Danfoss’ technologies and projects. What We're Looking For

We are looking for a results-driven colleague with good team player qualities to represent our organization in Brussels. If you're a natural connector with a passion for influencing EU policy and a proven track record of building strong relationships, we want to hear from you. We need someone who

Has a master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Political Science, Law) – you understand the intricacies of EU policy. Brings 3-5 years of experience navigating the Brussels landscape, whether in an EU institution, consultancy, or industry association. Can build and leverage a relevant network to advance our objectives. Is a collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, international environment. Communicates persuasively in English, both verbally and in writing; fluency in other EU languages, especially Danish, is a significant asset. What You'll Get from Us

At Danfoss, you will join a global leader in energy efficiency and electrification, providing solutions to the most urgent challenge of our time: the transition towards a green, resilient and competitive economy. Based in our Brussels office, you will be part of a small, dynamic team with exposure to high-level policy processes and senior decision-makers within the company
