The Manager Public Affairs leads the development and implementation of communication strategies to enhance corporate equity and media outreach. Supports the Corporate Affairs goals in the media landscape for the understanding of the smoke free vision and business transformation.

 

Your ‘day to day’

Develop and manage relationships with media and key opinion leaders to drive media engagement. This includes creating media strategies to ensure the company's voice is heard in key discussions including business and scientific journalists.Develop local corporate equity strategy, identifying relevant areas to focus on and areas for the company to invest and communicate, including People & Culture and sustainability topics.Develop and execute digital campaigns to build corporate equity.Develop and implement local sustainability programs and monitor regulatory developments. Collaborate with energized professionals and grow in a truly international environment working with colleagues in other countries.

 

Who we’re looking for:

Bachelor/ Master's degree, preferably in Communication, Public Affairs, Political Sciences or a related field.5+ years of experience in external/corporate communications/PR communication.Experience in highly regulated sectors or industries such as pharma, chemical, energy and construction.Proven ability to build and execute engagement strategies to form alliances with various parties.Leadership/People management skills.Understanding of the media and political landscape in Cyprus. Ability to communicate complex topics to a wide spectrum of audiences.International experience, preferably coming from multinational companies. Public speaking/media engagement is a must. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders and various functions.
