**About the Role**
As Public Affairs Manager, you will be part of our Market Access & Public Affairs team, working closely with external stakeholders and internal colleagues to support initiatives that enable better access to innovative treatments for patients. Your focus will be on building constructive relationships with policymakers, decision-makers, and healthcare influencers, while contributing to projects that matter for patients and the healthcare system.
This role combines external engagement with strategic coordination: you will help develop and implement public affairs and advocacy strategies that reflect J&J Denmark’s vision and objectives. Collaborating with the Danish Leadership Team and supporting the General Manager, you will work on initiatives that connect external opportunities with internal goals. We value creativity and fresh thinking - your ideas will help shape how we approach partnerships and policy challenges.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop and implement public affairs strategies aligned with business priorities.
+ Monitor and assess healthcare policy developments, identifying opportunities and risks.
+ Support advocacy and engagement plans that comply with regulations and ethical standards.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers, decision-makers, and healthcare influencers.
+ Represent Johnson & Johnson in external forums, trade associations, and policy platforms.
+ Prepare briefing materials and ensure consistent, compliant messaging for external engagements.
+ Collaborate with internal teams (Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Brand Teams) to ensure coordinated execution.
+ Contribute to reputation-building communications, issue management, and digital engagement.
**Qualifications**
+ Degree in political science, economics, public health, communications, or similar (Master’s preferred).
+ Experience in public affairs, government relations, or healthcare policy (pharma experience is an advantage).
+ Strong understanding of the Danish healthcare and political landscape; existing network is a plus.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
+ Fluent in English and Danish.
+ A proactive, creative mindset with ambition to grow and contribute strategically.
