Job Title: PTW Documentation Coordinator
Department: Operations Expansion – Start-Up & Sustainability
Reports to: Start-Up Division Manager / Department Head
Job Purpose
To coordinate all Permit to Work (PTW) activities for assigned assets, ensuring all work is safely and efficiently prepared, reviewed, and executed in full compliance with client and site procedures.
Key Responsibilities Prepare all PTW documentation for project work, including risk screening and risk assessments. Support planning teams with PTW inputs for shutdown and project planning across greenfield and brownfield assets. Act as the main contact for all PTW planning activities and liaise between Operations and Performing Parties. Coordinate with executing teams to review permits in the planning phase, ensure risk assessments are adequate, and check for any conflicting work activities. Conduct spot-checks and routine audits to ensure PTW procedures are being followed on-site. Monitor overdue/expired permits and maintain proper records in line with document retention policies. Suggest improvements to enhance the safety and efficiency of the PTW process and system. Generate regular PTW-related reports and statistics, including tracking non-compliances. Participate in incident investigations and PTW-related audits when assigned.
Qualifications & Experience Education: HND in Engineering Experience: Minimum 8 years in Oil & Gas operations with hands-on experience in Permit to Work systems and operational processes.
Skills & Competencies Strong written and verbal communication in English Familiarity with multicultural work environments Detail-oriented with strong planning and coordination skills Good understanding of safety procedures and PTW best practices
Other Requirements Ensure strict compliance with Company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards Contribute to the development of Qatari employees (mandatory for expatriates) Comply with anti-trust, competition laws, and internal firewall policies
