Psychometrician & Research Intern, Classroom AssessmentPosition Summary
The Psychometrician & Research Intern will contribute to research activities supporting Pearson’s classroom formative assessment system, Navvy. This internship provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in educational measurement and applied research, with a focus on advancing student learning outcomes through efficacy studies and evaluation of implementation practices.ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and execution of efficacy and evaluation studies, including research aligned with ESSA evidence tiers and What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) standards.Assist in documenting and analyzing implementation fidelity, and contribute to refinement of theory of change models.Collaborate with researchers, psychometricians, and product teams to maintain research documentation and reporting.Contribute to written summaries, presentations, and project updates for both technical and non-technical audiences.QualificationsCurrent enrollment in a Ph.D. program in Educational Measurement, Psychometrics, Quantitative Psychology, Statistics, or a closely related field.Familiarity with research methods and data analysis; experience with statistical software such as R, SAS, or SPSS is a plus.Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Interest in efficacy research, educational assessment, and the application of measurement to improve student learning.Internship Details
This is a part-time, temporary internship with flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments.

The pay range for this role is $20.00/hour - $23.00/hour.
