adults with mental health and dual diagnosis substance use disordersSt Vincentrsquos Medical Center is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network and part ofone of the largest providers of mental health services at several locations in ConnecticutPsychologist will provide assessment and treatment services to an acute inpatient population across the lifespan that includes individual family and group psychotherapies The individual will provide comprehensive behavior planning for complex patients with high risk behaviors The psychologist will consult to clinical teams regarding care management provide training to staff and perform psychological evaluations of patients In addition the Psychologist is a core member of the department training and functions in an educational role for students and trainees of all varieties Strong interests in training and education of both trainees and students are requiredIn addition this role will assume responsibilities of facilitating multidisciplinary discussions of and development of individualized treatment plans the identification of evidence based interventions and to assist nursing staff in the development of behavioral management strategies to aid in milieu management In addition the Psychologist will provide consultation regarding the departmentrsquos group psychotherapy program The
