**Job Title: Adult Psychiatrist - Inpatient**
**Location:** **York, Pennsylvania**
**Employment Type: Full-time**
**What You'll Champion:**
+ Join a well-established group of four experienced psychiatrists, fostering a supportive environment focused on clinical excellence, teamwork, and high-quality patient outcomes.
+ Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adults, typically managing a caseload of 13-16 patients
+ Participate in all aspects of treatment planning and care delivery working closely with a multidisciplinary team that collaborates with our Advanced practice providers
+ Teaching opportunities available with medical students and residents.
+ Monday-Friday schedule 8am-4:30pm
+ **VOLUNTARY** Weeknight call (Mon-Thurs) phone calls only and Weekend (Sat & Sun) call onsite
+ EPIC electronic health record

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Education:**
+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
+ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
**Licenses:**
+ Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
+ Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
**Courses and Training:**
+ Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry. Upon Hire Required and
+ Completion of a Psychiatry residency and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. (Not applicable for Adult Programs) Upon Hire Required and
+ Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff. Upon Hire Required
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Teaching skills.
