This facility is an ASAM Level III.5 Adult Clinically Managed High Intensity, residential substance use treatment program, located in Mandeville, Louisiana. (http://fphsa.org/) Minimum Qualifications Eighteen months of experience in providing behavioral health or developmentally disabled services, or psychiatric patient care; OR Nine semester hours of college coursework in a social sciences field, education, social work, child guidance, or nursing; OR One year of experience in providing behavioral health or developmentally disabled services or psychiatric patient care plus a Behavioral Health Aide Diploma from a vocational technical college with an approved curriculum from the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Provide direct nursing-aide coverage on the unit, working collaboratively with other clinical and administrative staff; + Take vital signs, perform room checks, and collect urine drug screens or urinalysis by order of physician or charge nurse; + Ensur e clie nt s stay on schedule with labs and clinical appointments; + M aintain documentation in the electronic health record (EHR); + M onitor and/or audit chart orders; and + Create and prepare documentation for clients with special dietary needs. + Driving and alternating shift work may also be required and the chosen applicant will be required to possess (or obtain) a Chauffeur's/Class D driver's license if hired. Career Progression : This position will be filled as a Psychiatric Aide 3. Compensation : The pay range for this position is $11.45/hour-minimum to $20.61/hour-maximum. Psychiatric Aides shall be compensated shift differential rates for actual hours worked. These rates may range from $0.25/hour to $1.60/hour, depending on both the shift and the day worked.
