We’re seeking a skilled, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is committed to delivering high-quality care and ensuring students receive timely medical support. What You’ll Do + Administer Medications with Care Provide medications to students according to physician instructions and maintain accurate, timely documentation. + Support Clinical Operations Assist clinic staff and physicians during examinations to ensure smooth, efficient delivery of care without delays. + Facilitate Timely Referrals Communicate promptly with the charge nurse to ensure students receive proper treatment and follow-up. + Maintain First Aid Readiness Inspect and maintain first aid boxes to ensure all necessary supplies are stocked and available when needed. + Carry Out Medical Orders Accurately Execute verbal and written orders effectively to ensure students receive correct treatments with zero errors. + Perform Laboratory Procedures Collect blood, urine, sputum, fecal, and throat samples to support diagnostic needs for the charge nurse and physician. + Provide First Aid & Follow-Up Care Address student complaints using approved first-aid measures and standing orders so that no student goes untreated. + Maintain Thorough Documentation Chart all student visits daily and accurately to ensure complete and compliant medical records. + Monitor Clinic Cleanliness & Safety Supervise students assigned to clean the clinic, keeping them within eyesight for safety and maintaining a hazard-free environment. + Ensure a Sanitary, Well-Stocked Clinic Keep clinic areas clean, organized, and fully supplied to support a safe and efficient healthcare environment. Qualifications + Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with valid licensure from the Alabama Board of Nursing. + Minimum of one year of recent supervised experience (within the last three years) as an LPN.
