PSQ Application Engineer

Based in our Reno, Nevada location, you will actively support Emerson Impact Partner network teams on sophisticated and engineer to order products. The Application Specialist I provides foundational technical and commercial support for the Isolation Valves product line. This role reviews RFQs, performs basic sizing and selection activities, and prepares quotations under supervision. The position supports the Emerson Impact Partner network by ensuring accurate and timely responses for standard product applications. This position will support our Isolation Valves product line which provides solutions to the industrial marketplace. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will be:** + Review customer RFQs to determine basic technical requirements and suitability of standard Emerson Isolation Valve offerings. + Perform standard valve sizing & selection using approved tools and published product data. + Prepare technical and commercial quotations utilizing CRM and Oracle systems. + Coordinate with factories for clarification on standard configurations. + Assist pricing and purchasing teams with list price and purchase price verification. + Apply published industry codes and standards to ensure product compliance in routine applications. + Communicate with Impact Partners to clarify standard technical requirements. + Maintain accurate CRM documentation and quotation records. + Participate in ongoing product and application training. **Who You Are:** You build the customer relationships. You quickly and decisively take actions in a dynamic, global space. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field or related discipline; or minimum 3 years of technical sales support experience. + 0–3 years of experience in flow control, industrial equipment, or technical inside sales. + Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. + Exposure to CRM or ERP systems preferred. + Legal authorization to work in the United States. **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Proficiency in MS Office, with a focus on MS Excel, at an intermediate to advanced level is required. + Experience with Oracle is also highly desirable.
