**Job Title: PSNS - Aluminum Welder / Entry level** **Job Description** As an Aluminum Welder, you will be responsible for welding steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel materials using the SMAW, GTAW, and/or GMAW processes in all positions. You will also be tasked with setting up welding machines based on the specific job requirements or using a Welding Procedure Specification. **Responsibilities** + Weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components based on the required weld processes and parameters. + Set up welding machines according to job specifications. + Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Experience with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. + Proficiency in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding processes. + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. + Knowledge of welding equipment and associated tooling including proper setup and use. + Familiarity with the metric system. + Capability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals, and procedure manuals. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Six months to one-year related experience and/or training. + Willingness to learn and apply oneself with a dependable work ethic. + Ability to stand continuously for long periods. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive team in a shipyard environment where you can develop your welding skills and grow your career.
