PSC Regional Manager

LabCorp is seeking a results driven Regional Phlebotomy Manager to oversee the Outreach Phlebotomy Team in Wisconsin. This position will be responsible for ensuring a large client base of physician offices as well as Patient Service Centers are maintained and serviced appropriately.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, additional days and hours may be required

Work Location: Oak Creek, WI

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of a region that includes supervisors and phlebotomists working in patient service centers and/or client office locationsProvide coaching and mentoring to supervisory staff as well as phlebotomy staffWork closely with large accounts to support operational services through phlebotomyEnsure all policies and procedures are updated and implemented in each territory in compliance with state and federal regulations and company mandatesMonitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessaryResolve any client-related matters or customer complaints appropriatelyEnsure patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels are being properly maintained Complete regular and timely financial analyses for all department-related positionsEnsure regular and timely completion of periodic inspections of patient service centersReport any performance, compliance, or staffing-related issues and work with the appropriate departments toward resolutionPerform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules, and performance appraisalsManage costs effectively by minimizing employee turnover and controlling overtime costsAssist in the setup of new Patient Service Centers and/or client officesPerform, collect, and prepare specimens when neededTravel to additional sites as necessary 

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferredStrong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and mentor a teamAbility to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customersPrior supervisory experience: 2 years is required, preferably within the phlebotomy/healthcare industryPrior hospital and patient-facing experience is preferredPrevious experience as a phlebotomist is preferredKnowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities, and techniquesPhlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsValid driver’s license and good driving recordProficient with MS Office programs
