Provider Services Coordinator
**Hours of Work :** 8 hours per day **Days Of Week :** Monday - Friday **Work Shift :** **Job Description :** **Job Summary:** The Provider Services Coordinator provides administrative support to the Director of Contracting and Network Development, as well as works alongside other team professionals within Dallas Methodist Physicians Network, MAP2 ACO, and Methodist Transplant Physicians. He or she must relate in a professional manner to coworkers, hospital administrators, physicians, and the general public. This position is responsible for organizing and coordinating projects to ensure the success of department goals. **Job Requirements:** Education: + High School Diploma or Equivalent required + Bachelor preferred Licenses and/or Certifications: + N/A Work Experience: + 2 years of work/internship in healthcare setting. + Onsite position Related Work Experience and Other Skills: + Ability to work independently, organize/set priorities, and meet assigned deadlines. + Ability to identify and resolve issues, often in a fast-paced environment. + A comfortability working on multiple projects with large amounts of data while maintaining attention to detail. + Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. + Must have excellent organizational and time management skills. + Advance skill level using MS Office suite-MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint + High level of technology literacy to support advanced web-based research. + Ability to build strong work relationships with coworkers and health plan representatives. **Job Roles:** + Supports managed care contracting + Research healthcare updates online + Proof and update various department reports + Proof and update Methodist Health System’s insurance information on website + Assist with projects as needed **Age Specific Care Considerations:** ☐ Adults: 18+ years – 35 years ☐ Adults: 35+ years – 65 years ☐ Adults: 65+ years ☐ Children D: 12+ years – 18 years ☐ Infants: 0 – 18 months ☒ Not applicable (category A employee) Methodist Health System is a faith-based organization with a mission to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare.
