**Key Success Factors**

+ Able to travel at least 75% of the time Monday through Friday, including some overnight stay.

This role is responsible for contracting with providers who have requested to join the network and for providers who are targeted to fill gaps in the network. The Provider Relations Contracting Representative will proactively reach-out to providers who are on target lists and to providers that have applied on-line to complete contracting process. This role also creates amendments to current contracts for providers who request contract changes. In addition, this position has the following responsibilities:
· Must be able to have effective interaction with all Providers
· Develop collaborative relationships with Physicians, Clinics, Ancillary Providers, Hospitals and other providers
· Outreach for new provider contracts, amendments and other types of agreements in a timely manner
· Proactive out-reach to targeted providers for adequacy and gaps in network
· Collects signed contracts, amendments and other documentation
· Create SAM ticket for contracts/amendments to be loaded in claims/configuration system
· Ability to handle multiple priorities with deadlines
· Coordinates the distribution of contracts and amendments within specific time limits
· Works closely with other departments on new business projects
· Attend monthly Provider Network and/or Operations meetings and may be required to attend other required meetings in person
· Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have three (3) years experience in a health plan, physician organization or other type of provider organization. This individual must have the ability to work alone with minimal supervision as well as communicate effectively with external and internal customers.
Salary
The pay range for this position is $25.14 (entry-level qualifications) - $42.11 (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate’s specific qualifications and prior experience.

+ EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
