Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Provider Demographic Coordinator. This long-term contract position requires an analytical and self-motivated individual who can manage provider demographic data with precision while collaborating effectively within a team environment. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of provider information across various systems, which is critical for claims processing and network reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Enter and update provider demographic data into multiple databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain provider records to reflect changes and ensure data integrity for claims processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to verify and align provider data for optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors in demographic data, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment with shifting priorities.
• Analyze upstream and downstream impacts of data entry decisions and communicate potential issues.
• Train new staff and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to demographic transactions.
• Meet production and quality benchmarks within a fast-paced production environment.
• Translate provider requests into actionable data processes for system optimization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in handling provider information.
Requirements • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least one year of administrative experience, preferably in data management.
• Proficiency in PC software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with HealthRules or similar database systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
