Provider Data Specialist
**Job Description:** The Provider Data Specialist performs accurate and timely abstraction, auditing, and monitoring of data from various provider information sources to ensure the integrity of provider data. The Specialist will assist with quality improvement activities related to database or registry outputs and supports Intermountain based software to implement and maintain correct, current, and up to date information for Intermountain Health. **Job Essentials** 1. Maintains a working knowledge of CVO and MSO functions, Payer Enrollment, Roster Management, Kyruus, Attestations, Credentialed and Non-Credentialed providers, Provider access to Intermountain Information Systems, Radiant Logic, and Providers data in iCentra and EPIC. 2. Demonstrates understanding of the operation and maintenance of Intermountain Healthcare's Verity Credentialing Data System and other sophisticated data systems utilized within the department to solve problems and address issues. 3. Keeps the Manager apprised of problems or concerns and assists in the preparation of reports, handles correspondence. **Minimum Qualifications** 1. Demonstrated experience in the use of a sophisticated computerized data system and requires effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with a team. 2. Must have intermediate level experience with spreadsheets, and word processing. Understands proof of concepts and workflows, demonstrates analytical, organizational and communication skills and can interpret data for implementation into the system. 3. Demonstrated workload management/prioritization skills. The incumbent must be able to work with a variety of health care professionals, able to function with minimal supervision, be self-motivated, keep confidences, have ability to adapt to frequent interruptions, have ability to solve problems and make decisions and possess organization and good communications skills. 4. Ability to work through frequent interruptions, solve problems, make decisions, and possess excellent organization and communications skills. **Preferred Qualifications** 1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
