**R&D Support Specialist for Sustainable Heat and Power Technology** **Pay:** **$30/hr-$48/hr depending on experience.** **Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm** **Location: Bellevue, WA** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled R&D Support Specialist to advance our sustainable heat and power technology through the development of prototype converters and hydrogen reactors. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and precision engineering. **Responsibilities** + Support R&D efforts by contributing to the development of prototype converters and hydrogen reactors. + Utilize CNC lathe, CNC mill, and micrometer tools for precise machining tasks. + Make adjustments and measurements to ensure prototypes meet exact tolerances of .001 or .002. + Collaborate with machinists, welders, and technicians in a small, dynamic machine shop. **Essential Skills** + Experience in Research and Development. + Proficiency in prototype machining. + Ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with exotic metals such as nickel, copper, and superalloy/refractory metals. + Familiarity with ProtoTrack technology and milling. + Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion and Autodesk AutoCAD. + Knowledge of 5-axis machining and 3 + 2 machining techniques. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that offers limitless growth opportunities into design and provides a continued education stipend.
