Job Overview:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Proposal/Quote Specialist to join our quoting team. In this entry-level role, you will support the preparation of standard and transactional quotes through the use of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools. You will collaborate closely with senior specialists, sales, and operations teams to ensure all quotes are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and generate proposals and quotes based on defined customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and consistency with company standards and pricing models.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Project Management, Finance, subject matter experts, specialists) to gather information required for accurate pricing and proposal development.

Support the use of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools for simple and transactional quotes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Escalate complex or non-standard requests to senior quoting specialists for review and resolution.

Participate in training and development opportunities to build expertise in quoting tools, systems, and standard operating procedures.

Manage proposal documentation, ensuring all required materials are complete, compliant, and stored properly in the CRM or document management system.

Maintain proposal templates and standard language to ensure consistency and alignment with brand and regulatory requirements.

Track and update quote status in internal systems, ensuring visibility for internal teams.

Support continuous improvement initiatives, helping to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in the quote preparation process.


Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business is strongly preferred or equivalent professional experience.

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a business support, administrative, or analytical role (experience in quoting, finance, or sales support preferred).

Proficiency in English (verbal and written).


Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Familiarity with Quotation Software (e.g., CPQ).
