This position has the primary responsibility of organizing, creating and preparing winning new business proposals to external customers, ensuring timeliness and accuracy, and compliance to company policies. This role is the 'spider in the web' during the proposal phase, collaborating with the required function groups, collecting their input. New to the Asset Services organisation, this role will help define the processes and standards for the growing market & team.
What will you do:
Receive, understand, and independently dissect the Request for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) requirements. Assemble proposal team based on initial review of RFP/RFI and by coordinating with the Sales Account Manager, Product Line Manager(s), PMO, Legal, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, A&T, and Others, as needed
Issue detailed review assignments with little to no direction for each document of the RFP/RFI to each functional group on the proposal team with specific completion dates which meet proposal request timelines
Assist in arranging and holding Applicable Gate Review Meetings. Develop initial proposal compliance matrices against customer requirements with input from subject matter experts
Drive the development of proposal strategies and themes with the proposal team. Ensure proposal strategy and formal response is evaluated by independent reviewers and internal non-advocates
Guide a Proposal Management Schedule that meets the customer need date and ensures proposal strategies, themes and input from all relevant stakeholders are reflected in the proposal
Mentor proposal team members about upcoming proposal development and submission deadlines throughout the proposal effort
Evaluates the proposal strategy and responds with content from a customer and competitor perspective
What will you need:
Excellent communication skills both in Polish and English
5+ experience with proposal activity involving engineered products preferred
Expertise in managing multiple proposal efforts at once
Detail orientation - tracks team progress and monitors online repositories
Ability to understand how to get things done within the organization while considering individual contributor value and motivation
Commitment to Quality, Lean, and continuous improvement
Strong knowledge of the Miller-Heiman Strategic Selling sales methodology
Understanding the meaning of activities common to the development of designed-to-specification engineered
Ability to work independently, identify challenges, responds to issues and proactively implement effective solutions with limited supervision
Goal and results oriented. Ability to deliver quality results under pressure
Ability to establish clear directions and objectives
Capability of facilitating regular progress meetings
Being available for travelling to internal and customer sites (at least 10% of time)
