**Position Summary:**
Under the direction of the Property Tax Manager, the **Tax Analyst II** will play a key role in supporting all phases of the property tax cycle, including but not limited to: maintaining tax fixed asset records, reconciling assets between PropertyPoint and BNA (the fixed asset management system), preparing accurate and timely personal property tax returns, assisting with audits, processing tax bill payments, and resolving tax notices.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Own the property tax calendar and payment process within PropertyPoint, ensuring accuracy, timely disbursements, and compliance with all jurisdictional requirements for over 700+ property tax bills
+ Efficiently prepare and submit 300+ annual personal property tax renditions on time using PropertyPoint
+ Evaluate property tax assessments for accuracy and defend filing positions with tax assessors
+ Support property tax audits by gathering information, analyzing data, and updating PropertyPoint to reflect audit findings
+ Research, interpret, and document applicable property tax laws, as needed
+ Investigate and respond promptly to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders
+ Assist in maintaining accurate and comprehensive fixed asset records using BNA
+ Participate in system improvement initiatives, including upgrades or process automation within PropertyPoint
+ Support reconciliation efforts between GAAP and tax fixed asset records
+ Document departmental processes and identify opportunities for process improvements
+ Perform other related duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications:**
• 3+ years of property tax experience, ideally within a public accounting firm or a publicly traded multinational corporation
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Effective communicator with a proactive mindset toward problem-solving and continuous process improvement
