Property Manager
Description We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Commercial Property Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of a diverse portfolio of office and industrial properties. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong financial acumen, a deep understanding of commercial property operations, and proven experience working with institutional ownership structures. This role requires the ability to manage assets in alignment with investor standards, management agreements, and best-in-class operational practices. Key Responsibilities + Prepare and manage annual operating budgets for assigned properties + Administer and reconcile CAM, real estate tax, and operating expense recoveries, including estimated billings and annual CAM reconciliations (must-have) + Ensure accuracy and compliance of all pass-through expenses in accordance with lease terms and institutional reporting standards + Produce and review monthly financial reports in accordance with management agreements and investor requirements + Conduct regular on-site property inspections to ensure maintenance, safety, and operational standards are met + Verify lease commencement dates and abstract leases for internal systems and reporting + Oversee rent collections, monitor delinquencies, and coordinate default proceedings when necessary + Approve and process accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) + Maintain strong tenant and client relationships, delivering a high level of customer service + Coordinate vacant space turnover, readiness, and support leasing efforts + Manage insurance requirements for properties and vendors, ensuring compliance with ownership standards + Evaluate service contract needs; prepare scopes of work, solicit bids, negotiate terms, and oversee vendor performance + Develop and administer preventative maintenance programs to protect asset value and mitigate operational risk Requirements Qualifications + Minimum of three (3) years of commercial property management experience, with office and industrial assets required + Demonstrated experience performing CAM reconciliations and managing expense recoveries (required) + Experience working with institutional investors and institutional reporting standards (required) + Strong financial, budgeting, and analytical skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency strongly preferred) + Experience with Yardi Voyager strongly preferred + Excellent communication, organizational, and tenant-relations skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
