Responsibilities As a Property Manager, your key responsibilities will include: + Property Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with applicable regulations. + Tenant Relations: Build strong, positive relationships with tenants or residents by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving issues in a timely manner. + Budget Management: Develop and manage property budgets, control expenses, and ensure financial goals are met. + Leasing and Marketing: Collaborate with leasing staff to maintain high occupancy rates and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants. + Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee maintenance and repair projects. + Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, and maintain accurate property records, leases, and compliance documentation. Requirements Qualifications The ideal candidate will bring: + A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in property management. + Strong organizational and time management skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. + Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and property software systems (knowledge of Yardi, AppFolio, or similar tools is a plus). + Familiarity with local landlord/tenant laws and regulations. + The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure.
