Description We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Property Management Coordinator to join our team in Berkeley, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Vice President of Property Management and Facilities by managing daily operations, overseeing documentation, and driving strategic projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and success of a dynamic property management portfolio.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Vice President of Property Management and Facilities in executing cross-departmental initiatives and maintaining operational systems.
• Organize and update internal documentation, including contracts, management plans, and shared digital drives for over 160 staff members.
• Generate detailed monthly performance reports using Yardi software and Excel to guide strategic decision-making.
• Develop and deliver presentations that assess property complexity and aid in portfolio planning.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and venue agreements to optimize operational costs and streamline processes.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and timely project execution.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of management strategies to improve overall efficiency. Requirements • Proficiency in Yardi software and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and coordinating across multiple departments.
• Strong organizational skills with expertise in handling documentation and records management.
• Proven ability to analyze performance data and present actionable insights.
• Effective negotiation skills with a track record of securing vendor agreements and managing contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with property management systems, HUD regulations, and Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH).
