As a Real Estate Counsel in the JPM Real Estate Law Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Global Real Estate group. You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and analyzing agreements related to real estate transactions and construction projects. Your work will directly impact our ability to manage real estate assets and investments effectively, ensuring compliance with JPM's policies and procedures.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage outside counsel to address disputes and litigation matters. Job Responsibilities:
Structure, draft, review, and negotiate real estate transaction documents and construction project agreements.Maintain and update standardized design and construction contracts across APAC.Provide legal advice to senior management on real estate and construction risks.Liaise with internal stakeholders to address disputes and litigation matters.Manage and scrutinize the work of outside counsel as necessary.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Minimum of 10 years of transactional contracts review experience in a law firm or corporate law department.Qualified in a Common Law Jurisdiction.Experience in real estate law, including corporate lease transactions and construction projects.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
In-house experience in the financial services industry or real estate firm.Proficiency in reading and writing Chinese and fluency in Mandarin.Experience working closely with compliance and controls personnel.
