Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Property Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to participate in design and construction infrastructure projects to identify and the necessary property requirements for the successful implementation of the projects.
Land management is a key role on infrastructure design and construction projects and a Property Coordinator supports the team in identifying, obtaining and tracking the property requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
Identifying the property interests (e.g., acquisition, temporary and permanent easements) for surface, subsurface and air rights on public and private propertiesLiaising with design and construction teams to identify the property needsInterfacing with the client to convey property requirementsDocumenting through reports and drawings the property requirementsAssisting with permission to enter for temporary accessTracking property requirements/activitiesImplementing property variation requests during constructionFacilitating the hand back of properties at the end of constructionAssisting with property aspects of proposal developmentProviding additional assistance with project permits and approvalsWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:
Education and Experience Requirements
BA/BS from a recognized university, preferably in the planning and/or engineering field, or relevant experienceMust have a minimum of five (5) years experience providing property support on design and/or construction projectsMust be proficient in MS Office SuiteCAD experience an assetPermit and approval acquisition experience an assetThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
