Property Administrator
Description We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to manage the daily operations of residential and commercial properties in Cape Canaveral, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for long-term career growth, contingent on performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of property management practices. Responsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of property management, including leasing, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination. • Respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints. • Schedule and supervise repair and maintenance activities to ensure properties remain in optimal condition. • Conduct routine property inspections to verify compliance with safety and regulatory standards. • Manage budgets, rent collection, and maintain detailed financial records. • Enforce lease agreements and take necessary legal actions, such as initiating evictions when required. • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and service providers to address property needs efficiently. • Maintain accurate documentation, such as lease agreements, maintenance logs, and inspection reports. • Prepare and deliver regular reports to property owners or management teams. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, either residential or commercial. • Strong understanding of Florida landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations. • Proficiency with property management software, such as AppFolio, Buildium, or Yardi. • Exceptional communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution abilities. • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. • High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred. • A Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) license is highly desirable.
