Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our growing team in North Canton, Ohio. This contract-to-ongoing role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and optimize lease agreements while ensuring compliance with corporate standards and policies. The ideal candidate has a proven background in lease administration, database management, and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to streamline processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lease Administration:
+ Negotiate, draft, and finalize commercial lease agreements, including renewals, amendments, and terminations to align with company policies and objectives.
+ Ensure compliance with lease terms and manage critical responsibilities, such as tracking key deadlines, reporting financial obligations, and verifying adherence to corporate standards.
Lease Analytics and Risk Management:
+ Analyze lease provisions to identify areas for cost reduction and risk mitigation.
+ Provide detailed insights to support strategic decision-making and resolve any issues related to lease terms or financial commitments.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:
+ Work closely with internal teams—legal, finance, facilities, and operations—to ensure lease agreements align with broader organizational goals.
+ Act as a liaison to facilitate effective communication and training related to real estate systems usage and data integrity.
Data and System Management:
+ Maintain and update lease-related information in corporate real estate systems with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
+ Generate key reports, such as rent rolls, lease abstracts, expiration logs, and other ad hoc analysis required by leadership.
+ Identify and provide insights on system updates, enhancements, and process improvements.
Compliance and Internal Controls:
+ Uphold compliance with corporate controls, risk management standards, and audit-related requirements.
+ Assist in developing and enforcing standard operating procedures for all real estate administration processes.
Process Optimization:
+ Continuously seek opportunities to streamline administrative tasks and reduce inefficiencies across lease and property management functions.
Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate property management or lease administration.
• Proficiency in lease negotiations, contract renewals, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Strong knowledge of tools like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with real estate platforms, such as Tango or similar systems.
• Ability to analyze financial terms and flag discrepancies effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across legal, finance, and operations teams.
• Proven ability to manage and optimize complex lease agreements.
