Property Administrator
Description We are looking for a skilled Property Administrator to oversee residential property management operations and leasing activities. As part of this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth property operations while maintaining strong tenant relationships. Located in Washington, District of Columbia, this position offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise in property management systems and administrative processes. Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day operations for residential properties, ensuring all leasing and management activities are executed effectively. • Maintain accurate records and documentation using property management software such as Yardi. • Oversee tenant relations, addressing inquiries and resolving disputes in a timely and detail-oriented manner. • Coordinate leasing processes, including renewals and new tenant onboarding. • Prepare financial reports and track property budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Collaborate with maintenance teams to address property-related issues and ensure timely resolutions. • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite tools to create reports, presentations, and other necessary documentation. • Monitor compliance with local regulations and property standards. • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality and safety standards. • Provide administrative support to the property management team, ensuring seamless operations. Requirements • Proven experience in residential property management, including leasing processes and tenant relations. • Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Familiarity with property leasing and compliance standards. • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, for effective tenant interactions. • Ability to handle financial reporting and budget tracking. • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain accurate records.
