The Promotional Planning Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the effective execution of retail and trade promotional programs, ensuring they align with the objectives established during the budgeting and planning processes, while providing support to the Merchandise teams.
What will you do:
Work with Merchandise and Marketing team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of promotional activities.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement plans for GPC Asia Pacific promotion.
Develop and manage yearly promotional planners for GPC Asia Pacific.
Track and report supplier income generated per event compared to budget or plan.
Work collaboratively across ANZ Merchandise, Marketing, Vendors, Logistics, Sales & Operations to manage promotional events smoothly.
Ensure all ANZ catalogues are completed accurately and according to the promotional timeline.
Conduct audits on merchandise outputs (mud maps, proofing completion) to confirm deliverables are fully prepared for stakeholders.
Partner with Merchandise, Marketing, and Digital teams to optimize promotions for online channels.
Ensure all signoffs comply with current processes, standards, and legislative requirements.
Coordinate execution of trade shows, managing both external and internal stakeholders.
About you:
3 years’ experience in catalogue production & planning, within a high-volume business
Sound computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
High attention to detail essential
Previous experience working within a merchandise team preferred
Strong data analysis, reporting & problem-solving skills
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
