This post is for a Project Worker 2 position, in our Young Carers Service. 

The job is predominantly office-based, in Kirklees, but it is expected applicant will travel to schools, family homes and hubs around the Kirklees area, therefore it is essential that all applicants have a full driving licence and access to a car.  

Although the core hours will be Mon-Fri 9-5pm, we may require you to work some early evenings to deliver Group Work Programmes and/or support to young people and families.

Although funding for this post is initially until 31st March 2026, we are hopeful that it may be extended until March 2027.

There are two posts available in Kirklees Young Carers at this time and as such we may be able to be flexible with the hours.
