Airswift is recruiting a Project Team Lead for a 2 years project based in Guyana with a leading company in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of projects, managing teams, and ensuring the delivery of milestones within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution and Management:
Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of assigned projects.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, and quality standards.
Team Coordination:
Supervise and guide the project team, including engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and alignment.
Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts within the project team.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors regarding project updates.
Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress, address challenges, and implement solutions.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive progress reports to senior management and clients.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks to project success and implement mitigation strategies.
Monitor project safety, ensuring adherence to HSE standards and regulations.
Respond promptly to issues or delays, adjusting plans as necessary to minimize impact.
Performance Monitoring:
Track project performance using key metrics and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Monitor resource utilization, optimizing manpower, materials, and equipment.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project execution, preferably in an EPC or industrial environment.
Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices.
