Our Above Water Systems team designs and engineers commercial and naval ships – as well as providing in-service support capabilities. We’re proud to bolster Australia’s sovereign capability through operational support to our Navy. With ongoing training programs and a team of over 500, our people have room to grow and move as they make a meaningful contribution to Australia’s Defence.
 

The Role:

Exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join our Above Water Systems project maintenance team in Garden Island. This is a role that will have you collaborating with a diverse team of Trades, Projects and all levels of Management. You will be providing high level of administrative and project support services to the team.

We are seeking a motivated self-starter with a positive and collaborative engagement style.

How About You?

Provide administrative and coordination support to RMPE project.

Assist in the planning, scheduling, and tracking of project activities and deliverables.

Maintain project documentation, records, and reporting tools to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes for project stakeholders.

Support communication and engagement across internal teams and external partners.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience in a project administration related role

Demonstrated abilities in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Good initiative, self-management and planning skills

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Working knowledge of MS Office products.
