Position Summary: The Project Support Associate provides administrative support to Project Managers for successful completion and supply maintenance over the life cycle of each project. Project support activities include task completion and issue resolution with internal customer procedures and support systems.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Client and internal project management team to finalize project specifications, attending meetings as needed.Assist in the establishment and maintenance of study filing systems, ensuring accurate records for all work undertaken.Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure that all Fisher Clinical Services activities are coordinated and completed in a timely manner.Communicate and coordinate all relevant activities, both internally and externally, to ensure readiness for the start of the study.Effectively communicate project progress and key activities using project planning tools.Provide timely reports and information to customers, as required.Optimize production of clinical supplies, in collaboration with the Master Production Scheduler, balancing customer requirements with available capacity.Create and/or support the creation of operational documentation using internal systems.Provides back-up support to the Project manager.Monitor project activities and establish customer-approved job specifications.Collect all necessary information for study design, including label texts, packaging materials, translation coordination, and batch documentation.Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
Understanding and competent use of SOPs required by company Quality standards.Strong organizational, planning, verbal, written, and numerical skills.Strong and effective communicator, capable of presenting information and responding to questions from managers and clients.Ability to develop strong customer management skills, anticipating and exceeding client expectations.Ability to learn and master internal systems associated with projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in using project planning tools like Microsoft Project to effectively communicate project goals and individual responsibilities.In-depth understanding of clinical trials.Certification in Project Management by a recognized institution.
Work Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a cold environment on occasion, with exposure to dry ice, liquid nitrogen cryogenics, and hazardous agents.Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.Use a computer for up to 8 hours per day.10 - 25% travel, as needed.
