 Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development and ensure communication/implementation of global procurement strategies to improve the effectiveness of procurement-related areas/functions. Each day, you will ensure implementation, maintenance, and compliance of assigned procurement activities and initiatives. You will also showcase your expertise by analyzing procurement-related problems or issues to identify best solutions and implementing improvements to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:Contributing to the development and implementation of procurement standards, tools, and processes in the global organization.Identifying, documenting, and communicating best practices using benchmarking, surveys, and case studies to establish frameworks and preferred business practices.Facilitating the implementation of annual targets and scorecards, in collaboration with the global/division Procurement Managers for cost reduction, supplier quality, supplier delivery performance, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), etc.Supporting long-term planning and ensuring monthly tracking of results to encourage continuous improvement.
Qualifications for the role Full- time engineering graduate with 8 to 10 years of experience.Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.Clear understanding of ABB customers’ needs and expectations.Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.
