**About the Role:**
The ProjectSpecialist III serves as a subject matter expert with responsibility for planning, organizing, administering, and/or leading short-term initiatives of varying scope within a division(s) and/or department(s). + Developsstrategies and tactical plans to implement organization-wide projects.
+ Manages resources to ensure that projects are implemented in the most cost-effective manner.
+ Negotiatesagreements/contracts with outside vendors or entities andensurescommitments are met.
+ Communicates the purpose of the project to internal constituencies and/or external customers/community members.
+ Developsandimplementsmeasures to determine and monitor effectiveness of projects.
+ May provide training to others regarding features and benefits of projects. May be required to represent the company in the community.
+ Works on problems of varyingscopewhere analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. May exercise judgment where policies and procedures do not exist.
+ Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
+ Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
+ Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
+ May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
+ Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.

**About** **You:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, a related field, or equivalent, preferred.
+ 4-7 yearsof relevant project management and/or operations experience inprojectarea, required.
+ Advanced relationship management and operational abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, and project management skills.
+ Advanced knowledge of products and services in project area.
+ Proven track record of success and skills in project area.
+ Knowledge of policies, procedures, practices and documentation in project area.
+ Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
+ Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.
+ Requires significant experience in the project area and a demonstrated ability to manage projects within time and budget constraints.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead/influence others to achieve goals.
+ Advanced negotiating skills.
+ Advanced knowledge of “best practices” in industry and project area.
+ Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel, and other business machines.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including basewagesand comprehensive benefits. Thepayrange for this role is $75,000.00 to $120,000.00and the pay rate for theselected candidate isdependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The rolemay beeligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
