Project Specialist

The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for leading the Vendor management, Control, Planning and Risk activities to ensure that the project objectives are met in terms of budget, on time delivery and to track and report on project deliverables and targets
Key Responsibilities & Activities
⦁ Contribute towards creating a positive HSEQ culture across the assigned project
⦁ Manage assigned team (project specific) for (planning, document control, risk) in achieving the project objectives, & assurance rigor
⦁ Assists in the development and implementation of MOCs
⦁ Affluently participate in monthly project reviews including engaging with financial controller in developing a credible project forecast.
⦁ Tracking and monitoring Sub-suppliers, Fabricators and other third-party companies.
⦁ Maintain Project Controls KPI’s-Engineering, Procurement, Document Control, Cost, Schedule and Risk.
⦁ Review and manage of key vendors/fabricators schedules.
⦁ Drive project deliverables.
⦁ Continually monitors the project plan, identifies critical items and activities having impact on the project schedule, which require special attention and takes action to resolve.
⦁ Produces consolidated reporting to the Project Team (stakeholders)
⦁ Assist the Project Manager in preparing monthly reports for PMR
⦁ Eloquently represent the project and the company as a brand ambassador in achieving the required objectives
⦁ Agile & innovative in applying observed lessons learned and eliminating waste.
⦁ Assist the Project Manager in contractual matters including notices & variation orders, when required.
**Minimum qualification & experience**
Degree qualified ideally in Engineering, Cost Management, Project Management, Finance.
⦁ Strong Planning background
⦁ Experienced in managing a team in project engineering/coordination roles
⦁ Min 4+ broad experience in EPC Oil and Gas projects
⦁ Audit Controls and Financial Background is a Plus
Skills
⦁ Technical knowledge and application of Project Services practices
⦁ Eloquent communication, and commercial negotiation
⦁ People development
⦁ Cultural awareness and sensitivity
⦁ Primavera P6 and @Risk is a plus
Knowledge
⦁ Understanding of the Oil and Gas industry in package and module fabrication (facility construction is plus)
⦁ Understanding of OSF business model
Travel
⦁ Up to 25% travel to work sites.
