Join our dynamic team as a Project Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in managing construction projects for a leading energy sector client. This full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in project management and construction management while working on-site in Richland, Washington.

Role Overview

Manage small projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance. Monitor project implementation to ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance. Track project budgets and costs, ensuring proper progress through frequent communication with clients, engineers, and management. Develop and manage contracts while interfacing with vendors. Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups, including senior management. Develop and maintain long-range planning strategies associated with assigned projects. Support the implementation of the Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.

Skills & Qualifications

Construction Management: Strong understanding of construction processes and project management. Demand Planning: Ability to forecast project needs and resource allocation. Project Management: Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Basic Project Management Techniques: Familiarity with fundamental project management methodologies. Computer Software Proficiency: Basic use of MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university. OR an Associate's degree in a related technical curriculum with two years of experience in a technical field. OR a High School Diploma/GED with four years of experience in a technical field. Desired Certifications: Construction Management Certification and PMP Certification are advantageous.

Pay & Benefits

Per Diem allowed for travel-related expenses. Work schedule of 4 days x 10 hours.
