Project Shipping Analyst
This position is hybrid model in our São Bernardo do Campo unit.
Position Summary
Manage the delivery of items to the designated client, as well as all transport flows according to project needs, working in cooperation with Project Managers, Logistics, Procurement, Industry and the Operations Department. As well as to contribute to the operational activities of the Project Management Office (PMO).
Project Shipping Analyst identifies transportation needs in terms of characteristics and modes, packaging, handling, and documents necessary to accompany the shipment (contractual documents, export control documents, and others), plans and controls the preparation and execution of shipments, and ensures the necessary follow-up (track & trace).
Optimizes transportation costs and manages the resources allocated to this activity.
Ensures compliance of the transport activity with applicable laws and regulations.
A secondary mission is to provide support to Project Managers in the service activity related to logistics / handling topics, for instance handling equipment, crane, truck, other necessary for field activities.
Key Areas of Responsibility
By joining us, you will be entrusted with the following missions:
Prepare shipments by:
Identifying and planning, according to production flows and project needs, all transportation requirements to be fulfilled;Acting as an interface with Projects, the Operations Department, and the forwarding agent;Preparing and carrying out all operations required for transport, obtaining the package of contractual documents and collecting contractual documents for delivery;Collecting import/export documents for delivery;Preparing regulatory documents for transport.Then:
Verify that delivery can be executed: this milestone consists of ensuring that all necessary elements are in place, including contractual aspects, export control aspects, and transport operation aspects. Finally, when all elements are in place:
Ensure that deliveries are carried out;Monitor their progress;Develop and keep up to date the dashboard and KPIs;Check invoicing;Manage disputes and associated action plans.As part of the sector's improvement plans:
Identify opportunities for improvement; Propose improvement actions;Monitor the assigned actions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Production Engineering or equivalent;Advanced level in Office suite, especially Excel;Basic Knowledge in MS Project;Fluent in English;Knowledge of Incoterms, Back-to-Back operations, Export Process in line with Brazilian Customs requirements;Specialization in product exportation can be a differentiator;Proficiency in Spanish and French can be a differentiator.
