Project Setup Administrator

**Description**
As a Project Setup Administrator, you will support our small but effective Project Setup team by creating and modifying project setup within our Deltek Costpoint software to allow proper cost charging and maintaining a complete and accurate file for contract documents in our digital library. This position requires superior customer service and support, team player, the ability to meet deadlines and manage an electronic ticket tracking system for work assignments among the team.
**What you’ll do as a Project Setup Administrator:**
+ Monitor and assign all incoming contract support requests via electronic ticket system
+ Responsible for digital storage of contract documents; verify & request documents to ensure complete and accurate files
+ Support audit requests for data
+ Setup Bid and Proposal (B&P) and Independent Research and Development (IR&D) projects in Deltek Costpoint
+ Responsible for opening and closing charge codes in Deltek Costpoint
+ Performs initial setup at award for straight forward contracts in Deltek Costpoint to include:
+ Contract type
+ Proper revenue recognition method
+ CLIN and charge code schema
+ Accurate value and funding per charge code
+ Establishment of contract labor categories and rates when applicable
+ Ensures assigned division billing specialist receives notification of new project setup
+ Completes input of contract modifications in Deltek Costpoint
+ Value and funding changes
+ Period of performance changes
+ Setup of newly exercised option years
+ Assist with resolving timesheet error discrepancies
+ Review project setup error reports and research/resolve discrepancies
+ Provide support to various data requests from Accounting, Contracts, Finance and Program Management teams
+ Other duties and special projects as needed
**Project Setup Administrator Requirements:**
+ High School graduate with 4-5 years of experience in accounting, contract/project setup, or equivalent office work experience utilizing Microsoft Office products and/or Adobe Acrobat.
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., Visa sponsorship not available
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Reliable, able to work under general supervision
+ Detail-oriented and highly organized
+ Proactive; actively participates in training and takes ownership of job
+ Professional, dependable, and interested in learning new skills and taking on new responsibilities
+ A team player
+ Possesses good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and manage interruptions
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Adobe Acrobat, Excel, and Word)
+ Comfortable with computers and capable of learning software programs quickly
+ Ability to understand and apply Company policies and procedures
**Project Setup Administrator Preferences**
+ Prior experience with Costpoint Project Setup and/or Billing modules
+ Government Contract Accounting/Finance work experience and/or Commercial contract experience
+ Basic knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
