Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Scientist to join our team! In this role you will perform a variety of environmental analytical data tasks by applying standard scientific and/or data validation techniques.

What You'll Be Doing:

Working with and training an amazing team of experienced scientists and project staff.Working with project teams to determine analytical needs.Coordinating with laboratories to ensure project requirements are met.Writing guidance documents for project and field staff.Receiving, tracking, and reviewing laboratory data deliverables.Performing data validation in accordance with the project-required guidance documents.Using software like FUDSChem and ADR.Preparing data quality summaries and data usability summaries for the project.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Knowledge of analytical chemistry methods and data quality assurance and quality control.Familiarity with environmental sampling and testing techniques.Ability to work independently and with a team.Strong written and verbal communication skillsUnyielding attention to detail.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Familiarity with emerging contaminants such as PFAS.Knowledge of, or experience with FUDSChem, EQUIS, and ADR.Background in both organic and inorganic laboratory methodology.Experience directing and training junior staff on data validation procedures.

Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00
