The Project Quality Engineer develops and maintains systems, rules, and processes to ensure fulfillment of internal and external requirements. Ensures that projects and products are capable and will meet specified standards (Preventive). Positions requiring thorough understanding, application and mastery of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context. 
  

As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for: 

Engineering Procure Construct tendering and project execution phases. Verify contractual and regulatory requirements are fulfilled and have maximized customer satisfaction and profitability. Establish and execute project quality plan, witness-points, quality records for compliance with contract. Ensure customer quality requirement, Feedback of Experience (FOE)/Lessons Learned are considered in the tender proposal to avoid deviation and to continually improve execution processes. 

Advises Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field. 

Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems 

Leads as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event 

 

Fuel your passion 

To be successful in this role you will: 
  

Have bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with some experience in Quality).  

Experience in QA Engineering. 

Fluent English 

Have experience in the fabrication of subsea or surface pressure equipment. 

Knowledge and (or) Qualifications in Welding Inspection and NDT processes. 

 

Desired characteristics: 

Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability. 

Review and approval of Quality documentation such as Inspection and test plans, quality plans and other related documents. 

Experienced in customer interface and communication across multiple disciplines. 

Experience of pressure testing and the control measures to be applied in relation to these activities.
