Job DescriptionCommunication with business units and divisionsInterface between business units and Material Field Purchasing for strategic and operational mattersManaging platforms and projects from the innovation phase to the end of production (EoP)Responsibility for change management of purchased parts and cost-saving activities (RPP)Representing the Procurement department to higher levels of managementResponsibility for procurement activities for all new projects (Product Engineering Process - PEP)Responsibility for achieving project goals (costs, quality, deadlines, budget, capacity)Participation in the Simultaneous Engineering (SE) team and coordination with suppliersApplying experience gained in SEResponsibility for technical discussions with suppliers (TSD)Support for preventive quality planning (APQP)Responsibility for evaluating and revising the procurement process (PR)Participation in Project Quality Gates (QG)Procurement for serial production until the end (End of Production - EOP)Responsibility for coordinating change management on the procurement side (ECR)Coordinating and leading Ratio Project Planning (RPP) globally from the procurement side and participating in RPP teamsResponsibility for achieving local goals and integrating them into business units – localization of goals while aligning with the Procurement strategyFirst point of contact for Junior Procurement Specialists in project management and problem-solving

QualificationsUniversity degree in Technical, Mechanical, Economics Faculty, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, or a similar field of educationProficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is an advantageExcellent communication and organizational skillsTeam-oriented mindsetAbility to work independentlyAdvanced IT skills, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with SAP
