Position Summary:
The Director for Compliance supports the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance in administering all aspects of a comprehensive athletics compliance program. That includes, but is not limited to rules education, monitoring, reporting, and general support of the compliance efforts of all student-athletes, staff, and external constituents.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ The selected candidate will collaborate with compliance staff in departmental oversight of processes and procedures to comply with all NCAA and Sun Belt Conference rules and regulations
+ Assisting with comprehensive rules education programming
+ Administer the monthly compliance newsletter
+ Manage and monitor assigned NCAA bylaws
+ Processing student-athlete compliance forms
+ Monitoring and updating Compliance Assistant information
+ Provide NCAA and Sun Belt rule interpretations
+ Updating compliance forms
+ Assisting with drafting NCAA waivers, appeals, and violations
+ Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of planning, research, and analysis techniques and procedures, department operations, policies, and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and basic accounting principles
Ability to plan and execute systems and organizational analysis and feasibility studies, conduct research and perform quantitative quality assurance reviews, research, prepare, and present comprehensive written and oral reports, and organize and conduct meetings and workshops
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, and two (2) years of professional experience in NCAA Division I Compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Experience in NCAA compliance is required. Familiarity with compliance systems such as LSDBi, RSRO, Eligibility Center, and ARMs.
