We invite you to join our dynamic Las Vegas, NV, team as a Project Procurement Manager (PPM) for sustainable high-speed rail projects and play a pivotal role in shaping America's infrastructure. You will drive sourcing and contracting activities in collaboration with multi-functional teams to achieve outcomes that align with the overall project objectives while demonstrating impactful functional excellence, including systematic supplier business award planning, developing a local supply base, and securing project deliveries about budget, schedule, and quality. It is also essential to be an execution-focused teammate as well as a strategic and analytical problem solver who is adept at managing capacity constraints, procurement challenges, and supplier development.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Risk Management and Supplier Development:
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier financial health, capacity limitations, and single-source dependencies. Establish accountability with suppliers and champion local supplier development initiatives to meet quality, sustainability, and innovation specifications. Integrate customer requirements and innovative solutions from suppliers during bidding and project execution. Manage all supplier contracts throughout project execution to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Procurement Strategy and Execution:
Develop, maintain, and implement a comprehensive procurement plan with project and offshore teams. Apply procurement market intelligence to optimize technical solutions and develop supplier relationships Identify and achieve cost-saving opportunities in project procurement to optimize budget impact, availability, and quality. Complete and monitor purchases, ensuring that the total cost of ownership is optimized for all goods, services, and equipment.Partner Management and Team Leadership:
Build relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal team members to achieve project and business objectives. Collaborate closely with local and offshore cross-functional teams to align on requirements, priorities, schedules, and technical solutions. Oversee the procurement team to ensure project objectives are met, making valuable contributions and efficiency to operations. Conduct management briefings and drive initiatives for project success, ensuring alignment with procurement strategies and goals.These responsibilities encompass strategic and operational aspects of procurement, risk management, supplier development, and partner engagement to achieve supply chain excellence and project success.

The pay range for this position is $109,100 - $147,200 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
