Project Planner

Create and maintain sprinkler projects programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, flagging potential risks to programme delivery.

What you will be doing

Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using programming software (e.g. Microsoft Project)Coordinate with design team, project engineers, sub contractors, and other stakeholders to gain project buy in and agree regular touchpointsAnalise designs and specifications to determine resource requirementsForecast labour, material, and equipment needs throughout project lifecycleIdentify potential program conflicts and develop contingency plansMonitor construction progress against the plan and adjust programme as neededPrepare regular progress reports for project management and clientsEnsure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standardsSupport the procurement process by identifying lead times for materials and equipmentParticipate in project meetings to communicate schedule updates and constraintsMust have NEC contract-based Planning experience, within medium sized construction projects (1m to 20m range)

What we will need from you

Must have NEC contract-based Planning experience, within medium sized construction projects (1m to 20m range)3-5 years of experience in construction planning or project management – ideally gained within the sprinkler industryProficiency with project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and industry practicesGood understanding of commercial and contractual matters and thorough experience and understanding of programming techniquesExperience of the Construction industry and industry standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
