This Position reports to:
Regional Product Line Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the local management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Each day, you will ensure operations are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating and overseeing team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the Distribution Solution Division in Taiwan.
You will be mainly accountable for:Leading the implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for local or regional Project Operations.Ensuring that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and ABB policies, controls, and requirements.Overseeing and leading the local Project Execution team, ensuring that ABB policies are consistently followed.Supervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with the management and Project Managers to ensure contract fulfillment and approving any project deviations.
Qualifications for the role
Minimum five years experience managing projects, ideally managing complex projects.
Basic finance knowledge and commercial aspects of business
Fluent English ability
Minimum Bachelor degree
15 years of experience in electrical industry. Out of which five years of experience in service and commissioning and in the field of project management & engineering respectively.
Experience with Projects of different size, complexity and contractual types.
