Raytheon Australia works closely with the Australian Defence Force as its trusted capability partner to deliver some of the most complex and ground-breaking engineering and technology projects in the country.
Since 2011, Raytheon Australia have been contracted to deliver facilities services in support of the Harold E. Holt (HEH) Defence Precinct in Exmouth, Western Australia gateway to the world-class Ningaloo reef. HEH is home to the Space Surveillance Telescope (SST), the C-Band Radar and Very Low Frequency (VLF) radio transmission capability, together these systems add a critical contribution to Australia's space domain awareness and battlespace awareness missions.
To support our mission, Raytheon is currently seeking a motivated Project Officer to join our inspired team. The role will be focused on delivering projects for the Space Domain Awareness mission systems comprising of SST and C-Band Radar.
Reporting to the PMO Manager, we are looking for a Project Officer to provide project management, technical advice, configuration management and contractor management support for the delivery of these projects at Naval Communication Station Harold E. Holt (NCS HEH).
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Utilise Raytheon's processes for the development of facility refurbishment and new facility project proposals including statement of work and, pricing an proposal development
+ Plan, monitor and execute multiple projects concurrently
+ Manage and monitor subcontractors to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes including budget control and ensuring that EHS standards are met and adhered to
+ Identify and anticipate any associated risks relating to the schedule of planned works.
+ Ensuring that all EHS requirements in relation to project activities are in place prior to work commencing and managed throughout project execution
+ Maintaining reporting metrics and performance indicators as well as preparation of project reports for the PMO Manager including customer reporting
**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
+ Demonstrated competence in Project Management skill set and the ability to work in facility refurbishment and new facility project environments
+ Proven experience within tender evaluations/trade studies team environment
+ AQF Level 4 Certificate IV (or higher) in Project Management
+ A proven ability to operate within the individual IT environment (Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project)
+ Electrical Preferred - trade background or knowledge preferred but not essential.
+ Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
