Key Responsibilities:

The Project Officer will also support and coordinate with the Department of Tourism (DOT) in each project office to achieve all agreed-upon indicators with the donor. Additionally, they will actively engage with key partners, including Barangay Captains, Local Government Units (LGUs), associations, cooperatives, and other stakeholders at the community and field levels to foster collaboration and project success.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Field Management & Coordination: Provide effective management, coordination, and support to ensure project objectives are met according to WV standards and guidelines.Stakeholder Engagement: Lead in coordinating and building strong relationships with key project stakeholders, both internally and externally, to enhance project impact and sustainability.Compliance & Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to World Vision policies and guidelines, including safeguarding, data privacy, safety and security protocols, and the WV Code of Conduct.Faith and Integrity: Demonstrate a Christ-centered life and work ethic when engaging with children, families, and communities. Inspire passion, participate in spiritual formation, and model high standards of spiritual maturity and integrity.This role demands strong leadership, community engagement, and the ability to navigate partnerships with local government, associationsLead the field operational at each field office in Baguio or Pampanga, including implementation and encouraging effective teamwork in the field team.Under supervision of the Project Manager, support overall project leadership and management in the field team while ensuring compliance with KTO requirements, KTO regulations, Government of the Philippines protocols, and World Vision’s policies and procedures;Liaise with partners, local government institutions, civil society organizations and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and facilitate monitoring and reporting of project objectives and achievements; Oversee the implementation of Overall projects activities in each field team.Supporting to produce the annual work-plans, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual reports, final project report and project activity updates, and other project-related communication and reporting materials in accordance with KTO deadlines and guidelines;Supervise 2 local communities based on their roles and responsibilities; collaborate with team members from DOT-Region Office and LGU. S/he will be responsible for coordinating with each member, conducting the day-to-day activities, managing accounts and budgets effectively, with the aim of ensuring the proper use of resources; provide guidance and support to field staff to achieve the project goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of four (4) years of experience related to implementation of programs in Field operationMinimum of two (2) years of experience working in tourism development and tourism CBT (Cultural and Ecotourism-Based Tourism) fields.Experiences in tourism program development and implementation highly preferred.Proven performance and ability in Field OperationField operation experience in Luzon Island(Baguio/Pampanga)Degree or equivalent in tourism development, business administration, or other field directly related to the tourism CBT (Cultural and Ecotourism-Based Tourism). Training on maternal, infant and young child health and nutrition preferred.Proven ability to establish and maintain interpersonal and professional relationships with key stakeholders such as Government officials,  NGOs, and CSOsProven ability to manage technical assistance teams   Strong interpersonal skills Strong presentation and report writing skills
