In this role, you will work closely with client stakeholders and the IBM team to meet the overall integrated solution plan, budget, schedule, and staffing requirements while exceeding your client's expectations. To help achieve this win-win outcome, a 'day-in-the life' of this opportunity may include, but not be limited to… * Project Management: Creating and executing project management plans including, financial, scope, and change, deliverables and communication controls. * Cross-Team Communication: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the client, partner, and account team on project status. * Reporting and Metrics Management: Report and strategize solutions for managing project metrics including project health, financials-costs, revenue, and gross profit, team productivity, and client satisfaction. * Building Credibility and Influences: Navigating across venues to resolve issues, developing and documenting risk mitigation strategies, providing project direction that quickly builds credibility and influences as a trusted advisor. * Developing a high-performing team: Cultivating teamwork and problem-solving while working under delivery expectations and deadlines. * Empathy and Service Skills: Demonstrating empathy and service orientation skills for client success. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Project Leadership: Initiating, managing, and completing telecom infrastructure projects. * Carrier Management: Coordinating circuit upgrades, installations, deactivations, and managing service order processes. * Timeline & Documentation: Managing project timelines, deliverables, stakeholder communications, and maintaining comprehensive project records in Excel and databases. Proficiency in JIRA, Excel, and project documentation tools * Network Oversight: Overseeing network redundancy implementations, failover configurations, and ensuring compliance with internal documentation standards. * Technical Support: Supporting network engineering needs for various site connectivity, assisting in in-building cellular system deployments, and monitoring circuit utilization. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Project management experience in telecommunications • Strong carrier relationship management experience • Understanding of telecom circuits, network infrastructure, and carrier services • Experience with service order management and activation processes • Knowledge of network redundancy and failover configurations • Familiarity with telecommunications industry standards and practice • PMP certification preferred IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
